Join us for a week long celibration to commemorate our first year on FM, and our 10th year in exsistance as a project. We will be celibrating in style for a whole week starting Monday 24th Wednesday and ending on Sunday 30th March.

First Minister Alex Salmond delivered the annual Campbell Swinton Lecture to the Royal Television Society of Scotland arguing that Scottish broadcasting deserved a 'better deal' for the sake of Scottish society. Deputy Leader does it monthly!
Nicola Surgeon local Govan MSP and Health Minister agreed this week to provide a live on air question and answers session to local people and listeners to Sunny Govan Communty Radio via a monthly phone in surgery.
The initial surgery took place on Monday 4th Feb 2008 on between 8 and 9pm Emma Forman's from the Glasgow Girls programme. Listeners were able to hear the Debuty leader questioned on various topics by both Emma in the studio and questions from from members of the public recorded live on the streets of Govan.
The interview brought out not only the talents of young Community Journalist Emma and her research team but also Ms Sturgeons replies revealed the SNP Goverment is grasping the potenial of Community radio and is begining to engage with the public with a genuine aim for a two-way process and dialogue.
